Sisters of Charity

Give a back rub palliative for the pain of desolation.
Nothing to hand but a cotton shroud and a tin crucifix,
At the tender age of twenty-two.
Last rites! forget last rites,
Just bring a cup of something sweet to pass the time.
Orange soda can break the monotony of dying.
